Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations

Q: How do I know if a particular day can be reserved for my event?

A: Please open the Reserve tab for you to view and reserve your event date.

Property Walk Through

Q: Is there someone at the location during the weekdays or weekends so that we can see the building in advance to the event for our decoration planning?

A: Walk-throughs are scheduled for every other Thursday mornings, if there are no events taking place.

Property Access

Q: How do we access the property on the day of the event?

A: Access to the property is provided by our security department, they have all the event information on hand. You will provide them with your name when you pull up to the property and they will grant you access to the property. They will keep the gate open for your guests.

Rental End Time

Q: What is the latest we need to take out any decorations that we arrange for the event ?

A: You will need to vacate the property by 11:59pm

Payment Due Date

Q: When is payment due?

A: Payment is due 30 days before the event. If this deadline is not met, the reservation may be canceled. We cannot accept checks or Money Orders without an OUC payment form, and we cannot accept postdated checks.

Cleaning

Q: Can we skip the cleaning fee if we clean it ourselves?

A: The cleaning fee is part of renting the facility and therefore we cannot remove it.

Tax Exemption

Q: I am part of a tax-exempt organization. How do I provide proof?

A: You can attach your tax-exempt certificate to the OUC Rental Agreement forms.

Alcohol/Off Duty Police Officer

Q: Are we allowed to serve alcohol during our event?

A: You can serve alcohol at the event, but an off-duty police officer is required on premises at your own expense. OUC does not provide an off-duty police officer, nor do we recommend any particular one.

Pets

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Only service animals are allowed. This does not include emotional support animals.

Tables and Chairs

Q: I see you have tables and chairs. Do you provide Linen service, or can you recommend a service?

A: OUC neither provides nor recommends any linen service. You will have to

rent/buy linen at your own expense.

Decorations

Q: How can I hang my decorations?
A: You must bring your own ladder, and only non-permanent methods may be used to hang decorations. Nails, hooks, tacks, and screws are strictly prohibited. Any damage to the facility will be your financial responsibility.

Food/Caterer

Q: Do you recommend any caterers?

A: Food is subjective, so OUC doesn’t not recommend anyone.

Sound System/Projection

Q: What type of sound and projection system does OUC provide?

A: OUC does not provide any electronic equipment.

Wi-Fi

Q: Do you have a guest Wi-Fi?

A: Yes. OUC does provide guests with Wi Fi. Network and Password will be provided upon request after payment.
